Jake Zapata joined Berkeley Capital Advisors in 2021 and is on the single-tenant net lease team. Since joining Berkeley, he has personally assisted in the underwriting and sale of 200 separate transactions with $615 million in sales volume. Before joining Berkeley, he served 4.5 years as a Ranger in the US Army. He deployed twice to Afghanistan and was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal and Army Commendation Medal. In 2015, he graduated with a B.A in Economics from Cornell University. Outside the office, he enjoys eating at new restaurants, visiting his family in his hometown of San Antonio, TX and attending sporting events. Jake lives in Charlotte, NC, with his fiancé, Haley, and their dog, Archie.
