SUBMARKET OVERVIEW
Walkertown Commons is located in Walkertown, North Carolina, a suburban town approximately 6 miles northeast of Winston-Salem CBD. The Town of Walkertown, because of its location east of Winston-Salem, is located in an area known as the Triad, a region of more than 1,000,000 comprised of greater Greensboro-High Point-Winston-Salem. The Center itself is located on the corner US Hwy. 158 and NC Hwy. 66, making it easily accessible to the entire greater Walkertown market and the surrounding areas such as Kernersville and a number of small towns to the north. Both US Highway 158 and NC Highway 66 are major commuter routes to Winston-Salem and throughout the Triad. The highway recently completed a highway improvement project in anticipation of accelerated traffic as the Winston-Salem MSA continues to expand northwest.
